Our Story
Jaeger Farms is a local Wisconsin farm that has been in our family for four generations. In 1936, my great-grandfather Albert and grandfather Franklin purchased the farm. Together they dairy farmed until my dad took over the dairy farm. In 1999, they sold all the milking cows and went down to just raising a few steers. In 2014, I took over the farm and added my first two steers to the farm.
September 10th, 2016 I married my wife Megan in the woods overlooking the farm. We are 4th generation and we thought it would be fun to keep raising animals. We pride ourselves on raising high quality animals that are family raised versus what you purchase at the grocery store. Our steers are choice fed grass, hay, grain, and minerals. We raise our animals like they are part of our family with no antibiotics or hormones and with no extra stress.
We work with Country Meat Cutters in Reeseville as our main butcher, with Pernats used once in a while. We are happy to be able to offer pork and chicken as well by partnering with our friends and other local farmers in Watertown.
